Given the amazing turn out that we’re expecting the organizers would like to remind people to consider public transit, biking and carpooling.
We would also like to direct your attention to the recently updated Schedule and Workshop Descriptions pages.
Those who are confirmed as registered will have received an email with the following information:
Here is an updated list of things you should bring to make your Free School experience more enjoyable:
– Your lunch for both days. Snacks will be provided but they won’t be enough to feed a hundred people fully.
– Water bottle. Please fill it up at home if you want to avoid the water line up at the farm.
– Coffee/tea mug, and plate/bowl and utensils if you’re staying for supper on Saturday evening
– An exercise/yoga mat or towel or blanket if you’re going to partake in the physical activity workshops, and/or if you want a layer between you and the ground
– A folding chair if you are unable to sit on the ground for extended periods
– Sun protection and weather appropriate clothing of your choice. We’ll be outside for most of the day and we’re expecting two sunny, 24C days.
– Something to write on and something to write with, if you plan on taking notes.
– A little bit of money to help us pay for the snacks and other expenses. We’re asking for $3 for one day or $5 for both days to be paid when you sign in. And you might want a little extra to shop at the market on Saturday. (If you have already paid the original registration fee, please mention it when you sign in and you will be reimbursed.)
Participants are also welcome to bring along any musical instruments.
